FILM PROPERTIES
Chemicalr Resistance
Heat Resistance
Water Resistance
|
Resistant to mild chemical fume attack but where there is heavy attack, e.g. actual contact with chemicals, a specialist paint system is required. Also resistant to splashing with alcohol, concentrated acids and alkalis. They are not resistant to aromatic solvents and vegetable oil.
Not recommended for use on heated surfaces above 65°C.
Not suitable for the interior (immersed) surfaces of swimming pools or for surfaces which are in contact with drinking water. Excellent resistance to high levels of moisture/heavy condensation and can withstand frequent washing down but will not tolerate damp substrates. When used on masonry, the surface must incorporate on effective damp proof membrane.
|
THEORECTICAL COVERAGE
|
A guide to the theoretical coverage which can be achieved under normal conditions is 6 - 10 m²/L. When applying by spray, losses due to overspray can be heavy on narrow sections.
