SURFACE PREPARATION
|
Surfaces to be painted must be clean to ensure good adhesion. Remove all loose or defective paint or powdery residues by thorough brushing or scraping, using a stiff fibre brush with running water or high pressure water jet. Treat any areas affected by mould, lichens, algae, and moss with Dulux Fungicidal Wash. Make good minor cracks with Selleys No More Gaps. Use a sand and cement mix for larger holes and cracks. Allow to dry before priming with Dulux Roofshield Adhesion Primer.
Note: Paint will not adhere on dirty and powdery substrates which are not thoroughly cleaned. Do not apply Roofshield during wet weather.
